Who We Are

The Mission of Victory Chapel DeLand

Here at Victory Chapel, we are a church on mission. We are sent by God, forgiven and put back together by Jesus Christ.  We believe in making a lasting impact with the Gospel in DeLand, Orange City, DeBary, and surrounding areas. We are movement of christian churches working together to change the nation through a fellowship of church leaders who believe in planting churches, evangelizing, and making disciples in the nations of the earth. In short, we give God all the glory He deserves.

To enable this to happen there are people and teams all across the nation pushing this common vision. We believe in the local church. We believe that our community can change the world. All this requires time, investment and application of the gifts God has given to each of us.

What We Believe

That salvation is a free gift of God, based on the merits of the death of His Son, and is appropriated by faith. Salvation is affected by person repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus (justification), and personal acceptance of Him into one’s life as Lord and Savior (regeneration).

The Christian life is to be one of consecration, devotion, and holiness. The shortcomings of the individual are because of the still progressing sanctification of the saints. The Christian life is filled with trials, tests, and warfare against a spiritual enemy. For those abiding in Jesus Christ until their deaths or His return, the promises of eternal blessing in the presence of God are assured.

Our Ministry Leaders

Bryan Carrejo
Bryan CarrejoChurch Leader
Bryan surrendered his life to Jesus in August of 2007 while serving in the United States Navy. God broke the chains of addiction and alcoholism in his life. He set him free from depression and gave him a vision for reaching military men and women who were empty, and helpless. His heart to help people is truly genuine and he is very easy to open up to.
Shemeaka Carrejo
Shemeaka CarrejoNursery Coordinator
Shemeaka gave her life to Jesus in October of 2000 at the age of 16. God set her powerfully free from depression, loneliness and anger. She enjoyed serving with her husband in a military outreach ministry for over 9 years and playing the guitar in various bands. She has a passion reaching those that are empty, broken, lost disheartened.
Bobby Jones

Bobby gave his life to Christ in November of 2016. Ever since that day his life has taken a turn for the best. Before then, while serving in the marine corps he was secretly depressed and used coping tactics that made his life worse. He was able to give his fears and worries about life to Jesus. God really showed him the bigger picture.
